About this English project.
Why to use Sitcoms to learn English and something more...
When we learn English the first issue that comes to our mind is in which way we will do it. The answer mostly is going to involve grammar methods and explicit language learning. This means internalizing the knowledge by following the structure of subject, verb, complement. Currenly, innovative ways have come up to change both learner's and teacher's mind.
Taking into account what has been stated previously, this blog looks up to show to readers and followers that they can learn English using the T.V. series that were part of their childhood. Then, they are going to find English classes that were planned around three mind series The Fairly oddparents, Phineas and Ferb, and Gravity falls.
The material designed based on this series is going to help the readers aand followers to engaged with the language easilly and meaningfully. To accomplish this objective, the people who have the chance of seeing this blog will find some episodes of the series, they will have the oopportunity to watch it and then see if they understood what they just watched through different interactive activities that will test mostly their listening.
This blog will be updated every week as the classes that have been thought for EFL third graders are applied. The expieriences that occur in the classroom are going to be narrated for the readers to give some feedback after they read them. This, in order to improve both the material and the way in which it can be used.
LET'S START THIS JOURNEY....
This seems to be a very innovative blog. Of course, many of us remember series such as "The Fairly Odd Parents", which were great. However, this type of content has not been widely used for English teaching. I will be waiting for your upcoming posts. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big cartoon fan, I think this is a great idea to learn a language. Children and teenagers are constantly attracted to television nowadays so it´s cool that you are taking advantage of it and teaching them without them making a big effort.
